Offenbach am Main, with a population of 134,170 as of December 31, 2022, ranks fifth among the largest cities in Hesse and is one of the ten regional centers in this federal state. This independent city is located in the heart of the Rhine-Main region and borders directly on the neighboring city of Frankfurt am Main, creating a seamless settlement area.
